Villa Bertelli’s summer 2026 events have been announced

Music, politics, art, and literature: the new program of events. A rich, diverse calendar designed to meet a wide range of interests.

Fondazione Villa Bertelli has presented the calendar of events that, alongside the major concerts and exhibitions, will accompany the coming summer season. The billboard will range from art and music to politics and literature, creating a well-rounded sequence of events designed to diversify the cultural offering and enrich the town’s tourist season.

The summer concerts of Villa Bertelli Live 2026 – with one date in July, nine in August, and one in September – confirm the Villa’s established role on the Italian and international music scene, attracting thousands of attendees. Also confirmed is the literary series with the publishing house Feltrinelli, which made its Forte dei Marmi debut last year and will feature leading names in Italian fiction, all proudly female. Among the major new additions is an evening dedicated to the prestigious Premio Strega Saggistica, with the presentation of the five finalists. To mark the 800th anniversary of the death of Saint Francis, a series of authoritative talks will be organized, culminating in a concert at the Church of San Francesco in Vittoria Apuana on October 4, Italy’s national feast day honoring its patron saint. Further events include a jazz festival featuring established musicians, together with classical and opera performances, all included in the Altra Villa program, which will also feature talk shows and lectures. The now traditional Parliamone in Villa series will also return, bringing together prominent figures from politics, journalism, and culture in conversation with well-known journalists.

Three exhibitions will alternate in the Sala Ferrario during the summer season, continuing the promotion of the Quarto Platano Museum of Modern Art: Migneco. Realtà e Visione, from June 6 to September 27; Uno sguardo ironico sull’Europa dell’Otto-Novecento, featuring magazines from the Paolo Moretti archive dedicated to political satire, from September 4 to 27; and San Francesco 1226-2026, from October 2 to November 1. The latter will also include several previously unseen drawings by Arturo Dazzi.

Another new feature will be Cinema in Villa, a series of evening screenings scheduled on selected Fridays in July and August.

Completing this important calendar is the exhibition Painting in Naples after Caravaggio. The Seventeenth Century in the De Vito Foundation Collection, curated by Nadia Bastogi, on view at the Fortino until November 1, 2026.
