How to get to Forte dei Marmi
Tourist Tax
The tourist tax applies to guests staying in accommodation facilities within the municipal territory of Forte dei Marmi. Revenue is allocated by the Municipality to enhance and promote the area, improve services, and strengthen the local tourism system.
RATES
Hotel accommodation: tax per person, per night
- 5-star hotels €. 5,00
- 4-star hotels €. 3,00
- 3-star hotels €. 2,00
- 1-2 star hotels €. 1,00
Non-hotel accommodation: tax per person, per night
- Holiday homes and apartments €. 2,00 (as referred to in Article 57 of Regional Law 86/2016)
- Guesthouses €. 1,50 (as referred to in Article 55 of Regional Law 86/2016)
- Bed & Breakfasts €. 1,50 (as referred to in Article 56 of Regional Law 86/2016)
- Other accommodations up to € 2,00 (including short-term rentals under Article 4 of Decree Law 50/2017)
Period of application and exemptions (Article 5 of the Regulations): from June 1 to September 15 of each year, for a maximum period of 7 nights per person (for continuous stays)
