The sculpture, created by Arturo Dazzi in 1937, depicts Victory as a female figure trampling a monstrous form. The work is carved from compact white limestone, characterized by fine micro-fractures that mark its sedimentary layers (similar to Istrian stone). It is set on a brick base topped with a thick slab of gray marble.

The sculpture “La Vittoria” underwent a comprehensive restoration in 2020, carried out as part of the broader redevelopment project of Piazza Garibaldi.
