Separate Waste Collection Management System

Ersu SpA (part of the Retiambiente SpA Group) handles waste collection in Forte dei Marmi. The Separate Waste Collection Management System provides on-call services and collection centers at various locations throughout the Versilia area.

SEPARATED WASTE COLLECTION IN FORTE DEI MARMI

Three activities, working in synergy with each other, make up the Separate Waste Collection Management System in Forte dei Marmi, guaranteeing a comprehensive and punctual service and, at the same time, protecting and maintaining the area. Door-to-door collection: this involves the collection of household waste from homes, to be placed in the appropriate containers provided by the service. This is a widespread, daily activity carried out according to specific schedules for residential, commercial, and beach users. On-call services: a range of activities tailored to the different needs of citizens, offering a wide range of possibilities for solving any problem related to waste sorting. Collection centers: key points in the ERSU Spa system, supporting the door-to-door collection service. Equipped facilities, dedicated exclusively to private citizens to encourage spontaneous separate waste collection, free of charge and also for disposing of types of waste not included in the schedule. It is not possible to dispose of RUR (residual urban waste). For more details, please consult the collection centers directly.

THE RECYCLING CENTER ON VIA G.B. VICO

To deal with littering and keep the city looking nice, the local government of Forte dei Marmi, working with Ersu SpA, has set up a recycling center near the parking lot on Via G.B. Vico.

The new area provides an opportunity for citizens and tourists who need to dispose of waste, especially on weekends, and who, for their own reasons, are unable to use the door-to-door collection service.

You can also take residual urban waste to the recycling center during business hours as follows:

Daylight Saving Time (DST) period

Monday: 6:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Tuesday to Saturday: 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Sunday: 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM

Stadard Time Period

Monday: 6:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
Tuesday/Wednesday/Friday/Saturday: 1:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Thursday: closed
Sunday: 2:00 PM to 9:00 PM

If Thursday is a holiday, the regular opening hours will still be in effect.

DOOR-TO-DOOR HOUSEHOLD COLLECTION

Put your bins and/or bags out for collection according to the schedule and regulations of the Municipality of Forte dei Marmi and within the limits of decent coexistence. Please check the weekly calendar for collection times. Don't put out bags too early, and make sure to close them up nice and tight!
