The magic of the sunrise concert on Ferragosto

On Friday, 15 August, at 6:00 am, Piazza Cardini and Piazza Navari will once again host the Sunrise Concert, followed by the Fishermen’s Breakfast, organized by the Department of Culture of the Municipality of Forte dei Marmi in collaboration with Fondazione Villa Bertelli.

The star of the 2026 edition will be tenor Vincenzo Costanzo, one of Italy’s most acclaimed operatic voices, whose recital will accompany the rising sun and celebrate the unique atmosphere of the setting. Joining him on stage will be actor Filippo Lai, with readings and narrative interludes, and pianist Maestro Cesare Goretta.

“The Sunrise Concert is one of the most defining moments of summer in Forte dei Marmi,” says Graziella Polacci, Councilor for Culture and Tourism. “Over the years, it has become a much-loved tradition for both residents and visitors, combining artistic excellence with the beauty of our landscape and the value of local traditions. Every edition offers new emotions while preserving the spirit of togetherness that makes this event so special.”

At the end of the concert, the Fishermen’s Association of the Loading Pier will offer the traditional Fishermen’s Breakfast, once again accompanied this year by panettone kindly provided by Fiore and Savini. A convivial moment that brings the morning to a close, celebrating music, local traditions and the spirit of the community.

Admission is free. Residents and visitors are warmly invited to attend and are encouraged to arrive early to secure a seat and enjoy one of the most memorable events of the summer in Forte dei Marmi.
