Everything is set for the second edition of “Assaggi d’Estate”

Everything is set for the second edition of Assaggi d’Estate, taking place on the pier of Forte dei Marmi on May 17 and 18, 2026. Around twenty chefs from Forte dei Marmi and the province of Lucca will present their culinary creations this year, including seven Michelin-starred chefs – five of them from Forte dei Marmi – who have already confirmed their attendance.

Starting May 7, presale coupons will be available for 35€, granting access to six tastings – three of which are classified as special, featuring dishes by the participating Michelin-starred restaurants – and water.

“We are thrilled by the response we have received from the local community, the support of the Municipality of Forte dei Marmi, and the hospitality industry,” said Lorenzo Barberi, president of Compagnia della Vela, the association organizing the event with the patronage and support of the Municipality of Forte dei Marmi. “Our goal is to expand and further elevate the gastronomic offering, positioning the event as the official kickoff to Forte dei Marmi’s summer season for both visitors and residents alike.”

“This is a significant initiative in terms of destination marketing,” added Forte dei Marmi Tourism Councilor Graziella Polacci, “because the event has the unique ability to showcase Forte’s food and wine culture within a setting that brings together the sea, elegance, and style.”

The following Michelin-starred chefs have already confirmed their presence:

• Gioacchino Pontrelli - Ristorante Lorenzo

• Andrea Mattei - Il Bistrot

• Valentino Cassanelli - Lux Lucis

• Marco Bernardo - La Magnolia

• Luca Landi - Lunasia

• Fabrizio Girasoli - Butterfly

• Alessandro Ferrarini - La Sciabola

The full program for both evenings, participating chefs, event details, and partners can be found on the official website and social media pages (Fb and Ig) of Assaggi d’Estate.
