At Villa Bertelli, an executive roundtable on local tourism

January 7 2026

Forte dei Marmi is entering a new chapter for its Tourism and Culture Department, adopting an organizational model in line with a destination of national and international standing. On Thursday, January 8, 2026, Villa Bertelli will host a high-level operational roundtable to define the structure, competencies, and relationships shaping the town’s tourism ecosystem.

Scheduled for January 8, 2026, at Villa Bertelli, this working session will bring together the municipal administration and a curated network of public and private stakeholders, invited to contribute to the design of a tourism framework that will accompany the Municipality in the years ahead.

A central moment of the day will be the operational dialogue with the Center for Tourism Studies of Florence, represented by Scientific Director Alessandro Tortelli, who will present tools and methodologies for advanced tourism data analysis. These instruments are designed to provide accurate insights into daily presence on the territory – beyond the resident and working population – including visitor origins and behavioral patterns. Complementing this scientific contribution will be ANCI Toscana, represented by Tourism Director Sonia Pallai, with a focus on designing training programs for municipal personnel and developing strategies to engage and align local tourism operators.

During the day, there will also be an in-depth look at the strategic platform “Qualcosa da fare,” presented by its founder Stefano Pirraglia, as a digital instrument for mapping and elevating Forte dei Marmi’s diverse tourism offer. The day will conclude with a dedicated focus on tourism and cultural communication through VisitForte, led by Stefano Roni, aligned with the annual directives set by the Municipal Board and aimed at conveying Forte dei Marmi’s distinctive identity: an authentic community where quality, beauty, simplicity, heritage, and a shared sense of belonging coexist.

Representatives of the main economic categories of the territory have been invited. The meeting aims to foster a broad and inclusive exchange, supporting Forte dei Marmi’s tourism system as it enters a phase of development requiring advanced competencies, coordinated action, and a long-term vision.
