Settembre all’ombra del Fortino: 54th Political Satire Award

An event celebrating the very best of Italian and international satire. Through irony, paradox, caricature and sarcasm, for one day Forte dei Marmi becomes the capital of irreverence. The event is organized by the Municipality of Forte dei Marmi.

The big change for 2026 is the venue: this year’s ceremony will take place in Piazza Garibaldi, in front of the Fortino, right in the heart of Forte dei Marmi. The event will be hosted by presenter and journalist Mia Ceran, who has been at the helm of Rai3’s TV Talk since 2024. Nine awards will be presented, while the identity of the special guest for the 2026 edition remains top secret.

Admission is free from 4:00 pm, subject to availability. As this is an event held in the square, no reservations are required or available. Those unable to find a seat will still be able to enjoy the event standing or from the benches around the square.

September in the Shadow of the Fortino
Forte dei Marmi’s September events calendar is packed with jazz performances, talk shows, book presentations, theater, political satire, and comedy. From Sunday the 13th to Sunday the 20th, these events will take place in the new 300-seat marquee located in Piazza Garibaldi, in front of the Fortino. The marquee’s transparent walls will ensure the program continues smoothly, even in case of bad weather. Among the most eagerly awaited events is the closing ceremony of the Political Satire Award on Saturday, September 19.
