Book presentation: U Maxi. Inside the Trial of Cosa Nostra by Pietro Grasso

Pietro Grasso, a magistrate since 1969, served as a side judge in the Palermo Maxi Trial, Chief Prosecutor of the Sicilian capital, and later National Anti-Mafia Prosecutor until 2012. In U Maxi. Inside the Trial of Cosa Nostra, Grasso reconstructs the Palermo Maxi Trial from within, offering a direct perspective on a pivotal moment in Italy’s republican history and conveying the deeper significance of the State’s fight against organized crime.

The event will be moderated by Professor Joel De Petris, with Antonio Oliveri, Director of Demea Eventi Culturali, joining the author in conversation.
