Exhibition Opening: “Journey into the Soul of Color – Paintings by Sigifredo Camacho” Curated by Luigi Meucci Carlevaro and Vittorio Guidi.

The Ugo Guidi Museum presents works by Ecuadorian artist Sigifredo Camacho, trained in painting in Ecuador and in sculpture in Italy. His canvases move between highly colorful, abstract compositions – charged with energy and expressiveness – and lighter images in which faces and bodies emerge subtly from simplified backgrounds, recalling currents such as Futurism and Cubism. In his sculptural work, especially in marble, Camacho depicts human forms that are only partially defined, as if still being born from the material itself. This unfinished language evokes human vulnerability and invites the viewer to reflect on their place in the world and on the relationship between nature and the environment.
