Sant’Ermete 2026: Historical and Religious Procession

The celebrations for Forte dei Marmi’s patron saint begin with the traditional historical and religious procession. Setting off from Piazza Dante, the procession carries the relics of Sant’Ermete through the streets of the town center to the Church of Sant’Ermete. Representatives of various confraternities and local associations will take part, together with traditional folk groups. The procession is officially included in Tuscany’s register of historical events.

Starting from Forte dei Marmi Town Hall, the procession will make its way through the town center in the presence of local authorities, accompanied by the La Marinara marching band and historical groups from across Tuscany, carrying the relics of Sant’Ermete to the parish church.
