Forte dei Marmi welcomes your pets: your dog is welcome at the beach clubs and on the public beaches, but there’s a dress code: a muzzle and leash must be worn at all times, in accordance with national law. Only naturally, guide dogs for the blind, rescue dogs, and police dogs are always welcome. All must be accompanied by their owners/handlers, who are responsible for ensuring that the animals do not create disturbances – and for cleaning up after them!

Dog Exercise Area
The playground area in the Pineta Sabin pinewood park includes a shady space for pets and their owners. Access is through a gate on the seaside boulevard; inside, you and your dog are free to play or rest, just as you please.

Summer 2019: Scuola Cani Salvataggio (Rescue Dog School)
From 15 June to 15 September, every Saturday and Sunday on the Vittoria Apuana public beach, the Scuola Cani Salvataggio Firenze opens their training sessions to the public with exhibitions of training and lifesaving techniques.
